A World Without Dreams

Do you know that one day I got lost/ without wanting to through/ all the stars of the immense/ universe that I have inside / a pirate astronaut who goes / from her planet to a destination she doesn't even know / looking for a bit of peace and an alternative / eternally traveling, sometimes adrift / I found a world that seemed for me / but I soon discovered that/
I was lost and immersed in a world without dreams where now/ no one laughs anymore/ neither white nor black/ stranger where the sky is not blue/ but always dark grey/
And to say that it looked so beautiful from afar/ I remember thinking this time here we are/ I was walking/ among all those people/ who were moving quickly and asking for nothing/ a uniform productive group/ who no longer has time to music/ love no longer knew how to do it/ and the flowers smelled like plastic/
There was no intensity in looks lost in the greyness/ ghost towns and cultures without a heart/ people/ cataloged based on a number / here they don't dream / and feelings don't exist / and there is no sun, nature doesn't sprout / people who live / in a sort of seclusion / my fear / is of not being able to resist / a similar torture / I know that you can't live/

And that's where I thought about my land with its defects/ every stupid war and its consequent effects/ the poor people in the sewers and the rich people on the roofs/ its teachers far from perfect but/ compared to here it's it's a paradise/ now I have understood and decided/ you can change and go back to singing/ because there are those who have never stopped dreaming/ where there are those who want to change/ where the sky is dirty but there is it's still the sun if you look up / where you can fly by pushing yourself towards / follow a dream and never find yourself again /
