Keep Your Heart (feat. Omri)
Verse 1:
This is the place where your living begins/
But trying to change it on your own is vain like kissing the wind/
More deceitful then enemies cloaked as intimate friends/
And you'll find that its inclination is to instantly sin/
Tells the story of your life more than words make up your sentences/
It's open to the Lord cause he searches it though it intricate/
And it's the thermostat to determine if you’re a hypocrite/

When words come out our mouths, they flow from it without arteries/

The spirit keeps it soft cause the father sent Christ to pardon me/
When talking about all of me, the Bible describes the heart of me/
And its biblical terminology/
No pun intended but we're wicked, that's the heart of idolatry/
God is judging the secrets found in your heart if you creeping/
Therefore you’ve got to keep it cause the Lord is watching sovereignly/
This is the place where your living begins/
So, guard your heard with all diligence/

Cause though each thought is hidden, God is searching it

Verse 2:
The first requirement is you’ve got to be made new/
Those keeping their hearts must be slaves to the truth/
Your hearts only settling at the place where treasure is/
I hope you'll find a field of righteousness that bears fruit/
With God filling your heart, you'll find no other can do/
You seek him with it, Psalm 119, verse 2/
Come peep a fool, who seeks, to rule/
If you're keeping your heart it keeps you from being this type of dude/
Who wants to shepherd the sheep and wants to pastor with pastors/
Don't shepherd his heart? Keep the sheep out his pasture!/
Train wreck of his life’s going to be a disaster/
The better question is, Was Jesus ever his master?/
So the moral of the story is/
Keep keeping your heart so you're ensured that you know you're His/
God desires for us to partake in His holiness/

If you're saved then you've seen a miracle, witnessed from outside/
But check how God now changes the immaterial/
The formerly deranged, born to see the flames/
Our Lord would rearrange to enjoy His regal reign/
He with joy received the blame, under the curse, was humbled the furthest/
Hung for the church, becoming a servant, now conformity's the aim/
So once the new creation is effectively made/
By God's predestining grace, it's progressively changed/
And here's how, (How?) This great, divine fact/
Your heart and God's voice were made for contact/
He spoke in His Torah and through the prophets/
Now He's spoken through His Son - Sola Scriptura/
We were hollow at first, mocking His worth/
Now we approach the word of God to know the God of the word/
Which changes affections, thinking, direction/
To aim for perfection cause He models it first/
Heart Shepherding needs a lot of explaining/
But I'll give you God’s words to apply what I'm saying/
Read Proverbs 2:6 for wisdom's source/
Then in 10 is where it intends to end its course/
4:23's our whole thesis/
Then persevere in 23:19 and know Jesus/
The evilest deceitfulness seen in sin is deep within/
So guard your heart and keep keeping it/
