The legend begins with an urban tale from Konya. A legend of a man named Perseus who slayed a dragon that ravaged the city for many years. The people then built a statue to his name and named the city after that statue... Iconium. This small story portrays the spirit of Perseus one of the greatest heroes of the ancient world.
I'll make your life a living hell, I'll turn your sorrow into pain
Oh lay oh lay me to bed with the dragon
I am the legend of this land, this savage beast I shall command
I swear to all before the first shadows fall
This is the story of a man who became a hero on this land
He slayed the Gorgon, gave meaning to this blind society
He fought with pride, defied the Gods he fell in love, embraced the lust
Thousands of years of hollow emptiness
Oh Anatolia, oh the world is a mirror of reality
Oh Anatolia unchain the deadly flame
I'll make your life a living hell, I'll turn your sorrow into pain
Oh lay oh lay me to bed with the dragon
I am the legend of this land, this savage beast I shall command
I swear to all before the first shadows fall
Oh Anatolia, oh the world is a mirror of reality
Oh Anatolia I welcome you to Hell
Oh Anatolia, oh the world is a mirror of reality
Oh Anatolia is burning, unchain the deadly flame
