Lonely Child
Small child with large innocent eyes,
He's unable to accuse or despise.
He's a child that's caught in between
a whirlwind, unperdictable society.
He never questions or complains,
about his part in this hard life.
He just learns to be strong,
This child is not alone,
There are many
who have to fight to survive.
Everyday it's a fight to survive.
When he grows older
there's a stand he'll take.
In his constant search for love
in this world we had made.
When's the last time have you held
a child,
and wiped the tears from his
pretty eyes.
The time is right.
The time is now.
To warm the heart
of a lonely child.
