You know what there is
We are lost in this forest and we don't know where to go
a journey without direction but only the desire to arrive
each in his own microcosm in the frenetic traffic
sitting next to each other in a subway carriage

that we never manage to meet, neither you nor me
You know what? We don't talk anymore on the street and we want to shout so as not to remain anonymous but the fear of change makes us feel fragile. You know what is it

you know what is there.....
we are close and distant
chained and yet indifferent< br/>slaves and heroes, winners and losers
of a race that does not yield trophies
how I would like to throw down
this wall of ice that grows
outside us
we have dreams to invent to deceive reality
but this cold that is around still freezes my soul

that we can't fit together anymore, neither I nor you
you know what there is.....
