In the houses opposite
In summer the chestnut trees
Hide them from the prisoners
And the noises of the neighborhood
Fade away
When the school closed
How many must have thought
On the day of the start of the school year

I imagine place
The ornate fences
Of an abandoned park
Exploding rose bushes
Of space

Where the tangled trees
Embrace

From the prison opposite
With a slightly sinking heart
To be on the good side
On the side of the cars
I pass
And from the roofs of the houses
That close the horizon
A piece of the Tower
Protrudes.
