Field of Dreams
One heals everything when one sleeps,
When one sleeps and dreams that place.
That place of evergreen countryside
And the low, solid hills
Of a horizontal sky.
Everything is cured when you live in a little house with windows
Where you always have to look
Today I woke up dreaming of the place
Where I imagined as a child
How big he was going to live.
The floor there in my house is made of squares.
Black and white chess squares.
With three windows, I live in a small room,
From where I see how it is all the right way and the other way around.
I go forward with my rocking chair,
Or backwards, depending on how I push myself
Or I recline with my feet.
From my position I have good vision.
I have a field of dreams for a garden
A path of round stones,
That began at my door and leaves
Meandering to some always better border.
Everything happens and happens every day.
The mornings are eternal,
The wind blows and the sun shines.
There are stories of rabbits, weasels, wolves
And good little foxes that will come for lunch.
As I understand everything is correct,
the cheater falls into the well, and the honest one will overcome him.
I am a wise gnome when I sleep,
and when I wake up I have finally found myself
so far from the fields of my dreams.
I became a big smiling man,
And I ask myself: what am I doing here?
Don't listen to me, I'm just thinking
If the red color isn't going to let me sleep.
I appreciate and get up early
To tell us, brothers,... the stories I learned from you.
