Voices on a reel
Said there is one thing to learn
Always pause before you turn
Caught in devious branches
Whose rustling I’d not heard
Lesson taught but fate is earned
There will not be one
Whose voice will not be heard
Arms will carry us
To hear the voice of God
Fraught with desperation
From the whims of my heart
I have searched to no avail
Having both the need and want
To capture my loss
Wallow blindly in the dark
