Take steps forward only to retract,
Strangled in my attempt to escape this trap
No care to awake from a long nights sleep,
In my mind, I've lost all peace.
Face yourself after years of work and toil
Realize that life isn't what you thought it would be
Long to be at rest, buried underneath the soil.
Can't look on the bright side when your face down in the dirt
Thankless human being with no self worth.
Hateful and prone to spite, I'm a threat to myself

Miserable and tired, mind overworked
