I met a childhood friend
He spoke with nostalgia about childhood
how hard life has become since.
How long the days seemed
the afternoons were eternal without knowing what to do
now time passes and does not forgive
months and years go by and never return.
Who has seen you friend and who sees you
how is life going for you, it has gone well for me
that paradise is so far away
I am used to living east of Eden.
What is it about the air in the morning
that drives away the fears of my heart
the doubts that yesterday were darkness
are simple nonsense in the light of the sun.
