Wipe the sodden earth off your feet,
Here's a warm drink.
Hey, stay strong,
The whispers from beneath
Shelter you when you least think.
The rattle in your bones,
Is creaking to the load,
Still it stands
This heavy load
You're pursuing on your own
Seems to weigh more than you can take.
So you look to turn it 'round,
But your world is underground
As you try to figure out the scene.
But you're hemmed-up in a state
As you've thrown the words away, like me.
A tale to us all
Seems to gather all in its wake,
We can only learn.
Take a pinch from the words,
And find out what it's worth,
So when you plan, your own debt.
Ignorance unnerves
The ones you know you've hurt,
So put it right,
It might take a while.
