The mountains cast their angry stare
Across a frozen landscape
Where the only remorse lies in the change of season
Food is scarce and shelter elusive
On this dark and gloomy day
The ice and hail are thrown all around us
Crashes into where we stand
We await the Spring,
The end of ice and of Winter's reign
Old cycle passed
And the world awaits...
Beyond Elder's Rock
Past the shadowed glades
'Top the mountain rides the Sun
On his fiery chariot
He rides past mountains to vast plains
With his fire he brings new life from an Autumn grave
From the caves out wander ancient spirits to the day
The day when Life will be reborn...

As the rays shine down
Through the frosted pines
Ravens sing their haunting praise,
Welcoming the Spring
As the light makes life from frozen shadows
