I search for meaning, to find my path
I can search forever but I'll never find what I need.
Limitations to material existence, we are earthbound.
Will I ever see what is guiding me?
Will I ever find a reason worth living for?
This veil of emptiness consuming my vision.
I am bound. I am bound to this prison of a world.
Bound, to no end.
Bound, fixed to this empty vessel
that carries no meaning.
Why would I have been sent here,
only to live a meaningless life
searching for something that was not there.
Buried under these vast waters,
currents to keep me drowning.
I will not surface,
to breathe the breath of life and freedom.
I wont escape the hands keeping me bound
no celestial light to guide me
