An Evening At The Rotary Club
Not long ago I wouldn't have dreamed of it
Attending this event here
I was brought here
And the initial reluctance
Soon gave way to the feeling
That the evening could be worth it
There was interesting information to report
People ate and drank and chatted
The appreciation was mutual
And there was a trust
It was almost a bit scary for me
I also liked most people
