Anywhere’d be OK if you were there with me –
You make anywhere seem a great place to be!
But now you’re not there - any place that I go to –
Seems empty and lonely with only just me…
I’ve been to the places we both used to go to –
I’ve done all the things there that we both used to do –
I’ve tried to erase you – I’ve tried to delete you –
But I haven’t succeeded – in forgetting you.
I guess only time will do that now for me,
I’ll fill up my life with new things to do –
But all of the time I keep thinking about us –
The things we both did then – yes - just me and you.
