Baltimore stood shining, sprawling – round its Harbourplace –

The tour bus guide was great to hear and the White House looked so green!

With its ancient pubs and houses there – as quaint as they were old.
You could have been in England there – as anywhere could be –

I met you there – but sometimes – I wish I never had;
Though I hardly got to know you – you made me feel so glad.
To be down there at that time – as young as I could be –
