Take the time to get acuainted with surroundings 'cause they'll set it off.
Scents and sensory sensations
are more than enough.
We're just brittle sugar sculptures,
scared animals.
Silence reigns supreme
Clouded eyes, clouded judgment
hyperventilating in my arms and yes
this is just the worst
for me, and you, I think.

because our eyes are amidst a sad-off.
Face it - can't always embrace it,
starts to feel like braces.
Fixed it, but my survival instincts
are based off bad statistics.
