God created heaven and earth
He made the flowers and trees
He created elephants with big floppy ears
And “OUCH!” God created the bees
God created stars in the sky
He made the light and the dark
He created Noah and his family
And Noah “KNOCK! KNOCK!” created the ark
God created cold morning dew
He made the rivers and streams
God created spiders and bugs
And “SLAP!” big old mosquitoes with wings
God created weeds and grass
He made grasshoppers and ants
He also made daisies and dandelions
And “SCRATCH!” poison ivy plants
God created ice cream and cake
And yummy cocoa nut pie
God made liver and bad-tasting things
And “YUCK!” I’ll never know why
