Talia Billig Band travel on

Headlights on northern highways, the steady rhythm of guard rails flying by
We wander through life these days sometimes I wonder if I’m destined to fly
And here we are, trees in the wind and your hand in mine
Approaching cars, chaos outside, looking for our heartbeats on the radio
And on, travel on…
Sicilian summer dresses, the walls and pathways of towns we’ve known
I’m heeding your caresses, we’re sleeping in a fragile wind over the coast
And you lift your wine up to your lips and my heart it soars
And in the night we’re beckoned by starlight to places we have been before
On travel on..
These silent roads, these oceans kissing stars
Fall into late nights on the countryside
City walls that h9old us right where we seem to belong
Down all these roads I find myself in your arms
