B. Rogers out west

Way back in Colorado before the canyon fires
We sat outside amidst the wilderness
I told her that I loved her and she told me the same
And I asked her to come with me out west
The sun began to rise the roads were as clear as the summer skies
We packed our clothes and we left the bed behind us
And made our way to LA
As we drove along the highway between the desert planes
I could see the ocean waves ahead of me
But as we closed the distance the waves retreated back
And so we chased the sun into the sea
And the stars began to shine our wilderness was far behind us
It felt like days since we left Colorado
But I had her I had her by my side
Now I can see I can see beyond the shadows
And I never thought that I'd be Satisfied
We're going out west as long as I have her love
I know that it will always be alright
Now I can see I can see beyond the shadows
And I never thought that I'd be Satisfied
We're going out west as long as I have her love
I know that it will always be alright
I know that it will always be alright
