Callous wastelands

Comfort derived from their assurance that all is well.
Once a brisk place, now replaced by misery and hell.
Our blue eyes remains static
As black hearts continue to wreak havoc
But I for one will not accept this fate
I will not be misled by their sleight
What I fear the most is the fact that we don't realize that we're drowning.
We're taking solid steps towards our graves
A whole kin lost to the unforgiving waves
Course is set towards the abyss
By the hands of zealot cynics
Bigot men chosen to settle our destiny
Hollow hearts, not a single sign of empathy
A civilization doomed to fail
Ultimately she will prevail
When it all comes crashing down.
When all our sins comes around, when our home has drowned.
Hope was sought, but all in vain.
A silhouette cast onto the skyline
Of what once were, now decayed by time
Our blood is on your hands
You've left us nothing but WASTELANDS
A legacy burnt to the ground
A memory of when dignity was around
A civilization doomed to fail
Ultimately she will prevail
When it all comes crashing down.
When all our sins comes around, when our home has drowned.
Hope was sought, but all in vain.
Woooha, woohoo
Wastelands, scatters this forsaken place
Wastelands, reflects our final fate
