Crooks and Crows where are you

Where are you my friend
I've traveled up the road and back again
These tires and tubes are thinning with my hair
The miles keep adding up among these many years
My direction keeps changing and I've paid the cost
When I took the time to look I realized I was lost
I swear I thought I'd find you right around the bend
So, where are you my friend
Where are you my love
You know you're the only one I'm thinking of
It's true I can be hard to be around
But I tried to lift you up even though I was falling down
These walks are awful lonely without your hand
I just can't help but think you've held a better man
Maybe someday you'll reach for me from up above
So, where are you my love
