I remember very well that night
under a sky covered in stars.
We went in my car to the old drive-in
to watch a boring love film.
In the middle of the movie I tried to kiss you
and you left the chair.
You left and left me standing there
watching the boring love film love.
And when I went to the bar for a Coca-Cola,
I thought I recognized you in a corner
you were hugging one meter eighty five,
like in a boring love film .
I exchanged my Coca-Cola for a couple of whiskeys
and I ended up drunk in the bar.
I saw the film finish, and what was my surprise
to see that the protagonist was me.
