Fernando Delgadillo mar sin palabras

I was always
One of those who walked fast
But today that I am sitting in front of the sea
I have remembered the waltz that
Juventino devised on the waves
That They come and go
I have entertained myself listening to their sound
Some seagulls talking while they draw for my song, and relieving
Those nights of incomprehension.
If I understood
What does your wave say
Who could speak your language of the sea
What do you say in your advance and your return
That shaped the contour of the immensity.
Next to you my life is so short
That I marvel at your longevity, at your age
And so calm that you still start playing.
Sea without words
Be in me song
With your time with your pause
Your cadence, your rumor
If that's how you learned to talk
What do you talk about to this world that never
You you stop to listen.
A wave sounds different
From the other wave that follows it
And from the one after it
Each wave is an unrepeatable miracle
That takes and gives up what that conquered
Sometimes I feel that in your movement
You say everything I try to remember
And that in your example you teach...my life
Ocean wave.
