Gal Costa teco teco

Teco, teco, teco, teco, teco
Marbles were my life
As a child among the kids
With the bag at my side I just played for It's worth it
I didn't make doll clothes, nor did I hang out
With the girls in my neighborhood, which was natural
I climbed poles, flew kites< br/>Until I was fourteen years old, that was my problem
With my obsession with being a funky girl
Everywhere I went, I found a fan
When there was a party in the local chapel
I was the first to be called to sing
Living like this I saw my name being spoken
Everywhere, everywhere, even with those who had never seen me
And today my great joy
is to sing with courtesy, for the people of Brazil
