Entreat me not to leave you,
Nor to turn back from following after you.
For where you go, I will go;
And where you live, I will live;
Your people shall be my people,
And you God, my God.
Where you die, I will die,
There will I be buried.
The Lord do so to me, and more also,
If ought but death parts you and me,
Entreat me not to leave you.
