H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society it s mi go!

Oh, the buzzing outside is frightful
But at last I've grown insightful
Crustaceans from cold Pluto
Called Mi-Go, called Mi-Go, called Mi-Go
As Akeley sat there and spoke more
I could see it's more than folklore
This story of alien woe
Of Mi-Go, of Mi-Go, of Mi-Go
As he spoke to me that night
His voice had a buzz and a hum
He said things would turn out alright
He must have thought i was dumb
They didn't come here for mining
But their plans I've been divining
And so finally now i know
They're Mi-Go, they're Mi-Go, they're Mi-Go
Hidden on an old mountain footpath
Is the shrine to Shub-Niggurath
That makes their antenna glow
Those Mi-Go, Those Mi-Go, Those Mi-Go
The fungi fly round in small squads
To pay homage to their dark gods
Foul blessings they will bestow
On Mi-Go, on Mi-Go, on Mi-Go
When they come for me in the night
I'll take potshots at them from the door
But if you hear me scream in fright
Know that they evened the score
My body is now abandoned
And my brain they stole and canned it
Please god say that this is not so
It's Mi-Go, it's Mi-Go, it's Mi-Go
