Conception after the Zeyten/ born into a foggy night/
Excrement and filth in the streets/ the world was purer before.
We feared enemies everywhere/ hid ourselves around it with walls /
We certainly thought we were coming in/ but the enemy was/ worse still/ also within.
Then we climbed the skull mountain/ gray gefirst from the first step/
but we believed God above/ and stood desolately on the skeleton.
Ab infidiis diaboli, ab inimicis santae ecclesiae, libera nos,
Domine, te rogamus, audi nos.
At night we went with defenses/ so we were trusted us the murder/
thought so much death upon death/ that we soon became skulls ourselves.
From all the complaining/whining/complaining/ the sky cracked/
there Clasp your hands/ then God was no longer sure.
Ut Ecclefiam tuam fecura, tibi facias libertate fervire, libera nos Domine,
te rogamus, audi nos.
So died/ fell / we were united/ and yet divided/ we stood alone.
And when our pale knuckles/ soon could no longer carry us any further/
some of us caught fire/ and threw the broken ones in.
We took another step/ and stared at the stars.
Then the concealment lightened/ And look! There were a thousand peaks there/
but God now remained far away from us.
