It took a while until we got together,
but everything started so well.
We were happy - I loved you,
You knew that too - not just me.
I thought there would be nothing between us,
but after a while I noticed
that I couldn't get the other person out of my head.
I didn't know what to do,
and didn't realize that I actually only wanted you.
I broke up, didn't think about it,
only saw everything from my perspective.
Didn't see how hurt I was hurting you,
how quickly EVERYTHING has an end.
Because now you hate me,
You don't want to know anything about friendship,
All the beautiful memories are torn apart.
You don't believe me anymore,
that I was really serious back then
- but we were always so close!
It's clear to me now that our time together was far too short.
Nobody still thinks of our time
- when we loved each other,
