Irrgarten summer afternoon

You can see in their eyes
They don't need no disguise
Look at them play, so innocently
Finding life's meaning in their games
I wish I could be one of them
Can you hear in their voices
There's no trace of lies
Only bursts of laughters and joy
That one day will be smother by
Responsibility and lie
Rise up your eyes and meet your destiny
No more games at the playground
No more rides on the merry-go-round
On a summer afternoon
I was walking down a lane
Near the park where when young,
I had so much fun
It doesn't look the same now
But the children are still there
And yes, I should be one of them
