Iskald natt utover havet

It is night beyond the sea.
Everything has now spoken.
It is silent for the weak.
My life it has gone wrong.
A verse I sitting writing in my tiny grave.
My sail gets no wind.
On the open sea.
My party is over.
My soul it is how sad.
The sea has calmed down.
The wind blows nicely.
Gloomy is my hymn, for I will show the way.
For all the other fallen.
Your knife went through me.
I heard what you said mother when I left you there.
Standing at the gate you were always dear to me.
You gave a life to me.
You shouldn't have done that.
The party hit me hard mother.
And tore my life away.
I went to war and my weapon was worn out.< br/>But it was only the dream.
Here everything will be white.
With care I was hailed.
And did my duty as a man.
In war with gunpowder and blade we conquered the dark land.
But all things must come to an end.
I can see it now.
You looked after me so well mother.
Now must you let me go.
