Kyle Fosburgh a new dawn was breaking in 1909

When I was young,
so very young
I held the sun in the palm of my hand
When morning came,
drifting my way
Early I woke to greet the new day
But now I watch every step that I take,
and I watch of every move that I make
But I know, there are answers for the questions we ask
Now that I know,
all there is to know
You see that my heart will never grow cold
And now that I see,
all there is to see
No better a man I could ever be
But when those clouds come drifting over,
casting a shadow, from the east to the west
I remember, holding the sun in the palm of my hand
Well Victor,
had the image,
that all common man,
would hold dear
But little he knew,
his image,
would last 100 years
Well the people knew,
all their dreams,
would soon,
come to pass
And the light that shone so brightly in their eyes,
would never,
cease to last
Well the flame was lit,
torch was in hand
Dreams are passed fourth through all living man
Now when the sun breaks through,
all your surroundings,
your castle of dreams,
will have all it's belongings
Though your boundless conscience,
rages up on the hill,
if your body is weak,
you won't surrender your will
Cause when the morning dawns, it dawns
like the dew on the grass
new day will come,
and the old, day, shall pass
