Lizzie Weber
falling like fools
Weâve walked a single plane,
And while we feel the sameâweâve changed.
And I thought it hard, at least in some regard,
That weâd keep making art
And never fall apart, is this the start of our new dance?
Weâre falling like fools,
If we had a chance, shouldnât we know the moves?
Is it my mood?
Is there somethinâ I can do?
Give me a clue, am I crazier than you? Whatâs the use if all we do is fall like fools?
Weâll try to feel that lustful high,
To know that you and I are fools to let this die.
And I wonât despair on unforeseen walls.
âFallen foolsâ â thatâs what weâll be called, if thatâs the cost weâll brush it off
And smile
like we do.
