the Tinian Island in the Pacific
Carrying an awesome new weapon
weighing almost 10, 000 pounds and
containing 140 pounds of deadly uranium-235.
The bomb was code-named Little Boy
The target for the mission:
Hiroshima

The bomb load was released over it 's target at O9: 15 hours at an altitude of 31, 000 feet.
Little Boy exploded 800 feet above the target with the equivalent force of 20, 000 tons of TNT
