Sean Riley and the Slowriders moving on

I'm so happy that you're on my side
We're so lucky, we made it out alive.
So lay down silently, we're safe inside
No one can find us here, it's a good place to hide.
It's crazy outside, so i'll just lock the door.
It feels good inside, stretched on the floor.
Sorrounded by violence, blinded by hate,
They're walking in circles as we lose our faith.
Millions of years gone by,
Millions of men tried to stand up shouting through a pen.
But it looks like these days, there's no turning back
Write me a poem, they'll write you a check.
I'm so angry with was going on,
This weight on my shoulders is keeping me from moving on.
We can't go outside, so i'll just lock the door.
It feels good inside, stretched on the floor.
We'll rest for a while, and i'll be ready for tonight,
Look them in the eyes, ready to fight.
Ready to take them down, so just bring it on,
I'll take both of them, and just move on.
