Living on a fine line but we never really care about our up-time
When the clock is running out on all our good times, though the people stop and stare when they're looking at the way I rock and roll
Working in a soup-line, you'll come to find your way out at the right time
What you're really all about is just more dead-lines, when you're living on the edge and you're the only one who's never sold your soul.
If you had three wishes, what would you do?
Now you have two wishes, that much is true.
If I had just one wish, you know what I'd say?
I'd wish for three more wishes, everyday!
Praying for a sure sign, all the while your're sleeping on a gold mine
When you're ripe and gettin heavy on the grapevine, when the day is running out and you're the only one who'll reach your goal.
Waiting for the sun shine, to reach the open waters with your lifeline,
The only friend you ever had was on a hotline, cuz you were living on the edge and that's the only life you'll ever know!
