When I was little, heaven was
Somewhere up in the sky
And you could only get there
With one very last sigh
Everyone wore white sheets
And you walked along golden streets
Across squares with fountains
Full of red lemonade
And you flew through white clouds
And an angel held you
And you could walk on water < br/>Because the water was made of glass
Everyone was happy there
Never hungry again
Never in pain again
If only you had misery here
Everything would be different there < br/>But I don't know anymore
Where heaven is
I don't know where I'm going after this life
Then I saw heaven
With the eyes of a child < br/>But it is gone forever
Heaven is gone
I grew older and believed
In another fantasy
And I followed Zarathusta
With a kind of anarchy
For I flew over the clouds
To a land far away
But I saw no golden gates
And I saw no fountains standing
And I know not more
Where heaven is
I don't know where I'm going after this life
Sometimes I see heaven
In the eyes of a woman
But that usually lasts but for a moment
Heaven only lasts for a moment
