O eternal lord God
Who through many generations has united our armed forces
Grant thy blessing, we beseech thee,
On all our service men and women, serving around the world
Bestow thy crown of rightioness
on all their efforts and endeavours
may their laurels be those of gallantry and honour, loyalty and courage
We ask these things in the name of him whose courage never failed, our Redeemer, Jesus Christ
