The Whiskey Collection riverbed

Time seems to hold me way down,
Down by the river where the children play,
and don't mind my rhythms,
and don't mind my oceans,
Just climb my hillsides and ride me 'til day.
I seem to grind up my daylight,
and hold my paycheck like an unmarked grave.
So bid me a lighter and hold it to me
Smoke me down like the riverbed.
