This Winter Room stars above the trees

Holding out to settle
I was holding out to leave
One look would tell you
I can't stand the heat
I never liked the Northeast
With the passing of my twenties
And the beginning at my feet
The sky is dark but it's opening for me
But what I lost was all I need
She'll fly away
She'll find a way to me
Like all the stars above the trees
She never needed anything
It was never more than hide and seek
It was never more than hoping
I'd see the light, I'd see the day it comes
When I find out what she's running from
So here I am just parked again
Trying to enjoy the view
I wish I had another place to go
There's nothing left to go home to
She'll fly away
She'll find a way to me
Like all the stars above the trees
She never needed anything
She'll fly away
She'll find a way to me
Like all the stars above the trees
She never needed anything from me
