Torsson sjobo havsbad

The car is washed and the tank is full.
I have cleaned all the seats from lint.
I have looked at the oil just in case.
And wiped the stick, with a new tangle wiper.
My car is a nice one, it drives out towards the roundabout,
and then further west.
It turns right on E6, and then left towards Barsebäck,
and arrives at Sjöbo havsbad to end.
So pack a lunch bag with coffee and juice,
hop in and we'll go.
It's the hottest day we've had so far.
So we go and swim in Sjöbo sea bath.
When you stand on the beach with your toes in the sand,
you can look away to Copenhagen.
And there is a plaster island, as white as snow,
a little out into the strait, at Landskrona harbour.
South of our bath, half an hour's walk away,
is the fishing village of Barsebäck harbor.
A little way up on land, a stone's throw from the beach,
is the nuclear power plant, with the same name.
So pack a lunch bag with coffee and juice,
jump in and we'll get there.
It's the hottest day we've had so far.
So we go and swim in Sjöbo havsbad.
In the sand there is driftwood and amber and seaweed,
things that came up from the sea.
Amber was formed from resin once,
and has lain and hardened, over the centuries.
Here you meet people, of all kinds,
and you greet and say: "Good day".
And you go here, on a day like today ,
then maybe you'll meet someone just like me.
So pack a lunch bag with coffee and juice,
hop in and we'll do it.
And if you come here, one day like today,
you might meet someone just like me.
So pack a lunch bag with coffee and juice,
hop in and we'll get going.
It's the warmest the day we've had so far.
So we go and swim in Sjöbo havsbad.
