Troldhaugen a soul for the taking

In the blackened marshlands,
Where most men fear to go,
Is where it dwells
There, in it's hollow,
Slick and dripped with slime, it waits,
Yet another soul for its taking
If you Wish to know me,
You'll find you know me well,
Deep in your mind
I am your lust and hatred,
The things you try to hide inside,
Here I linger foul and unholy
All your life you've toiled,
As a silenced man of manners meek and mild
This is now your time,
To uncage the rampant beast you've kept inside
Time brings forth the end
Men's greed his friend
Here come take my hand,
Why stay a man?
I will never give in to,
Your foul depravity!
Your life is nothing but chaos,
Without plans or sanity
Now I shall leave you here to wallow,
In vulgar impurity
I return to a human life,
Free from your beast-like pugnacity
Time brings forth the end
Men's greed his friend
Here come take my hand,
Why stay a man?
