My Father taught me how to pray
And so I praise Him every day
The same Father we all share
Says Cast upon Me all your cares
The Lord himself taught us to pray
At His command we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
deliver us from evil,
and grant us your peace.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
Are Yours now and forever.
