Zibba favole

Text: Sergio Vallarino - Music: Andrea Balestrieri
Light sitting outside his name
Does the heart still ask for freedom?
And it asks it in the form of tears
What will this river bring? more? in there?
And he punches her car
That still knows about her and her sweat
And he finds phrases in the mirror that
He doesn't want to know about her face
/>Trying to think of something better
Really hoping it wasn't love
And meanwhile he tells himself,
fairy tales
and he can't get up and dies in the middle of them all his
fairy tales
that don't change and always talk to him about themselves
Light, pockets empty of poetry
Only drugs and bread to fatten up
a tremendous desire to go away
and compete with those who can't? run away
And he asks for help but he wants to stay outside
And is there? someone ready to remember
Two hundred thousand pages of errors
Collected in a photo to tear
Dreaming of flying to a better place
Hoping to find something love
And in the meantime he tells himself,
fables
and he is unable to climb up and dies in the midst of all his
fables
which do not change and always talk to him about themselves
[… ]
Trying to think of something better
Really hoping it wasn't love
And meanwhile he tells himself,
fairy tales
and he can't get up and dies in it amidst all his
fairy tales
that don't change and always talk to him about themselves
Light, his hands are still shaking
And maybe no one will know? that
Behind the black leather of his long dress
Is there? another less unstable face
And kicks his soul
Hoping not to do more? bullshit
Does he tattoo his freedom on himself?
And changes his name, face and identity…
Dreaming of flying to a better place
Hoping to find something love
And in the meantime he tells himself
fairy tales
and he is unable to climb up and dies in the midst of all his
fairy tales
which do not change and always talk to him about themselves
